Siberian Lining Company has started the supply of wear-resistant bimetallic plates and composite steel pipes based on bimetals. These materials are designed for use in conditions of high wear and corrosion, and are an ideal solution for enterprises operating in aggressive environments.
Wear-resistant composite steel plates consist of 40-60% chromium carbide alloy deposited on a steel substrate by arc welding. This process allows you to create a material with unique properties: the main steel layer takes on a mechanical load, and the deposited layer, with a high content of chromium carbide, is resistant to corrosion and is used as protection in extremely aggressive environments.
The surface hardness of the deposited layer can reach HRC67, which makes these plates ideal for use in high wear conditions.
