In March 2018, we delivered to the factory of LLC TsOF Shchedrukhinskaya (HC TopProm) a transition cone F 150-200 mm on the discharge pipe of the Warman 8/6 pump, lined with wear-resistant ceramics based on aluminum oxide (AI2O3 92%).
As of August 10, 2018, after more than 6 months of operation, autopsy and visual inspection showed only 5% wear on ceramics. This is an extremely positive result, given that previously the metal cone was changed every 14 days, and taking into account the two-layer surfacing with wear-resistant electrodes - every 30 days.
Thus, the operating time for ceramics has already exceeded the planned service life by 6 times, and we expect that it will work for at least 12 months. We are pleased with these results and believe that they demonstrate the high efficiency of wear-resistant ceramics in the industry.
